Dessert Tables
As well as traditional tiered wedding cakes, I also create dessert tables & wedding favours. You may even want a mix of all three?
Dessert tables can be made up of a variety of different cakes from fairy cakes and cookies to macarons and brownies. This is a great option if like me you have a sweet tooth and do not want to choose just one type of treat.
Wedding Favours
Edible wedding favours are a great option because unlike other gifts you can be sure they will be eaten and not wasted. Whether you use them as place settings or present them on a gift table for your guests to take away, they are the perfect little treat to leave your guests feeling extra special.
Delivery & Set Up
Delivery and set up is charged separately from your wedding cake price. You can choose to collect your cake from me in Monton, Manchester if you prefer (although not all cakes are suitable for collection) and I can give you information about travelling with and storing your cake to ensure it arrives safely. If I am delivering your wedding cake, I will contact your venue or wedding planner and coordinate with them the best time for me to set it up. I can leave them with cutting guides and any instructions from you about saving tiers or slices. I offer wedding cake delivery in and around Greater Manchester and the Northwest.
Cake Stands & Styling
This is important to think about, you do not want your perfect wedding cake sat in a corner and forgotten about. You may even want to think about styling your cake table, speaking to your venue about where it would be most admired and what kind of cake stand you would like to present it on.
Making the Most of it
To make sure that everyone gets to enjoy your wedding cake, you could serve it as dessert at the end of your wedding breakfast. Or if you want to serve it as finger portions during the evening party, ask your wait staff to walk round with a platter so that it’s brought over to all your guests.
